If there’s one thing that nearly all of us have in common, it’s a desire to change. To become more, better, healthier or happier versions of ourselves.
But as you’ve probably experienced more than once, a desire to change is no guarantee that any change will actually take place.
We see it in ourselves and in others: our best resolutions often do nothing more than frustrate us and weaken our intent.
The reasons why are manifold: for one thing, you may think all you want that you’re going to change this or that aspect of your reactions or behaviour, but the mind by itself is unable to create change if there’s not very strong (and corresponding) emotion that goes with it.
And even then: if there’s no genuine intent (à la “And NOW I quit smoking!”) connected to it, a strong emotional desire doesn’t do the trick either.
What’s more, even if we do have the intent, it often seems our subconscious tackles us as soon as we decide.
We want to be more disciplined, to stop overeating, to not overreact, to have more self-confidence or resilience – but it’s really frustrating: the very moment we resolve that now it’s finally time for a change, we grab the ice cream or the cigs and there go our good intentions, out the window.
You can’t think your way into intent
Mind is simply not the tool you need to use if you want to bring about change.
That’s why ideas such as ‘The Secret’ and other supposedly magical concepts don’t work for most people – it addresses the mind but doesn’t reach the deeper levels.
And it’s at those deeper levels of our psychology, our subconscious, that lasting change is initiated.
Which seems like a real problem, given that we can’t access our subconscious from the here and how.
This is why I love working with constellations so much: It’s a way to directly access the subconscious mind, by means of a type of role playing.
And don’t think that the word ‘playing’ means it’s shallow – constellation work is an enormously powerful method, proven time and time again by participants.
What’s more, working with a system-approach based on working with your experience means that there’s no need to go back to the root of our problems.
Unlike other therapies, my way of working with constellations allows you to observe how you relate to your past experiences and your current limiting beliefs and attitudes, in the here and now.
By rearranging the various elements, as represented either by objects or by other session participants, you can literally see the shifts happening in yourself.
The result is a completely new paradigm of yourself in relationship to those elements in your life that help or hinder you.
And that enables you to approach the change you long for in ways you previously never considered possible.
How does that work?
To find out, please follow one of the links below and read in more detail how an experience-based approach to the deeper layers of your being can help you to create change.
You too can release blockages, limiting beliefs, and the attachment to the hurt or damage that were previously unable to let go of.
The result of this kind of work is a deep sense of belonging, of being right with the world, and of knowing what to do and not do in order be fulfilled, empowered and happy.
Change is real. It’s waiting and ready – yours for the taking.
